LUMIHEAL®

LumiHeal® is an innovative, non-invasive wound care treatment designed to support and accelerate healing in both acute and chronic wounds through the application of Fluorescence Biomodulation technology. It is indicated for use by healthcare professionals in clinical, outpatient, and home care settings and provides an effective alternative to conventional wound care approaches.
Key Product Features:
- Fluorescence Biomodulation Technology: LumiHeal® uses a topical light-activated gel in combination with a specific LED activator to generate fluorescence. This fluorescence penetrates the skin at multiple depths to influence the key biological processes involved in wound healing.
- Multiphase Healing Support: The treatment addresses all three critical phases of wound healing — inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling — to promote a biological environment that supports tissue repair.
- Non-Invasive and Pain-Free: LumiHeal® offers a gentle approach without surgical intervention, making it suitable for a wide range of wound types.
- Simple Application Protocol: A thin layer of chromophore gel is applied to the cleaned wound area, activated with the LED device for a few minutes, and then removed, after which the wound is cleansed.
Indications for Use
LumiHeal® is intended for the management of impaired or damaged skin, including wounds that are slow to heal or non-responsive to standard care. It is suitable for use in hospital, clinic, and home-care environments where enhanced wound healing support is required.
Mechanism of Action:
Upon activation by the LED device, the Light Absorbing Molecule (LAM) gel produces fluorescence that delivers targeted light energy at a cellular level. This energy interacts with biological pathways involved in wound repair, stimulating processes such as cellular proliferation, collagen production, angiogenesis, and modulation of inflammation to support overall wound regression.
Clinical Benefits:
- Supports biological processes essential for effective wound healing
- Demonstrates positive responses in a high proportion of treated patients
- Offers a well-tolerated, non-surgical approach with minimal treatment burden
- Can be integrated into existing wound management protocols
